 Letter to the Members:
 Hello, Oklahoma FFA!

My name is LeAundre Delonia, and I am beyond excited to serve as your 2025 2026 Northeast Area Vice President.

I come from the historic town of Okmulgee in the northeastern part of our great state. I recently graduated from Okmulgee High School, where I was actively involved in several organizations: the National Honor Society, Student Council, the Okmulgee Showpiece Marching Band, the Cheer Squad, and I served as a football manager. I’m also a proud member of the Academic Team. One of my favorite high school memories was walking into the building for the first time. There was nothing like that feeling, the joy of stepping into the place where so many amazing moments would unfold.

My Supervised Agricultural Experience began in eighth grade with small animal production. I started with raising and breeding show rabbits, which grew into a broiler entrepreneurship where I raised show birds and conducted agriscience experiments. Eventually, I expanded into sheep production and proudly raised and showed show sheep.

The spark that truly ignited my FFA journey came from creating the New Farmers of America documentary alongside Mr. Leman Lewis and Mr. Charles Williams. That project allowed me to explore my chapter’s deep rooted legacy and connect with alumni and community members. Hearing their stories taught me that even the smallest efforts can create a lasting impact, and our work even gained national recognition.

Though I don’t come from a generational agricultural background, I’ve grown immensely through the opportunities that FFA has offered me. I may be the first in my family to walk this path, but the flame lit within me will burn for generations. My family, school, community, and fellow members have each played a part in shaping my journey, but above all, my walk with Christ has been the most transformative. One of my favorite scriptures, Philippians 2:3 4, says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

I plan to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a double major in Agricultural Education and Animal Science. This year, I am most excited to serve because I want to create a community where everyone feels they belong and their contributions are recognized. My mission is to foster a culture of support and leave a lasting legacy that encourages future generations to continue nurturing and uplifting one another.
